Dear Iberianists:
With the 52nd International Congress on Medieval Studies around the corner, I would like to remind all of you that you are invited to join us at our annual IMANA banquet.
As you may know, all Iberianists are automatically members of IMANA and cordially invited to the annual banquet. This year’s IMANA banquet will be held on Friday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fetzer Center (room 1055). As usual, there will be a cash bar at the Fetzer lobby starting at 6:30 p.m. Please, see the attached “Banquet Menu” and “Reservation Form” for further details.
If you wish to join us, please see the attached documents. Take a look at the “IMANA 2017 Banquet menu” and send me the completed “IMANA 2017 Banquet Reservation Form,” indicating your choice of entree, together with payment of $25, payable to “Pablo Pastrana,” by May 1 at the address listed in the form (same as below). As always, please make the reservation sooner rather than later, as space is limited. Feel free to forward this email to colleagues, students or friends who would like to join us.
In addition to meeting colleagues working on the Iberian Middle Ages, the IMANA banquet provides an opportunity to recognize the recipient of La corónica book award, acknowledge great work in Ibero-medieval studies, propose ideas for the 2018 congress, and more. All sessions and events are included in the conference program, which you will have received by now. If not, you can find the online version at https://wmich.edu/medievalcongress.
I look forward to seeing all of you soon.
Best wishes,
Pablo
