Call for papers:”New Approaches to Castilian Textualities”
This panel seeks papers that engage with the role and significance of emotions in the Castilian prose of medieval and early modern Spain. This panel encourages submissions that offer new perspectives and innovative analyses to understanding the role and complexities of emotions within the literary textualities of pre-modern Spain. Understanding emotions as loosely and expansively as possible, the panel welcomes submissions exploring, but not limited to: power, gender, desire, body, travel, wellness, security and surveillance.
